African Alumni Associates’ Groups

Alumni groups have the potential to transform society as they offer networks within which peers can exchange ideas and learn from each other. If they are well organized and well-coordinated, they have the potential to significantly influence the education sector, aid in job creation and contribute to policy discourse. While in many parts of Africa alumni groups such as High school, college and university alumni groups exist, they do not exist in others. Moreover, only a few of the existing ones have been able to create a difference in society as most are neither fully functional nor lack a clear leadership. It is against this backdrop that the Social Entrepreneurs International, through its Africa Alumni Association Advocate Group, seeks to strengthen existing Alumni groups across Africa and help establish them where they do not exist

YOUTH GROUPS

PARTNERSHIPS

Effective partnerships are at the core of SE International’s work. Throughout all of our Institutions, Centers, and Departments, we partner with government agencies, universities and colleges, faith-based organizations, women, youth, retirees, and social investors who share our vision of building sustainable, inclusive communities through innovation. For partnership opportunities, contact Dr. Maurice Aleyao—Corporate Strategist and Director of the Africa Bureau. Our global presence requires an investment in local stakeholders and platforms to advance integrated, locally driven solutions. Our approach rests on the belief that our partnerships should be mutually beneficial and focused on enhancing entrepreneurship development and innovation for women, youth, and students so that they may sustain and transform the communities in which they work.
